Dan Wyberg with his big Pennsylvania gobbler that weighed 19 lbs. and had an 8 1/2 inch beard. Called him up at 10 Oclock in the morning with a Virgin Hen call. Dan had called up 2 more gobblers the day before, but they spotted his hunter orange hanging out of his vest and made a quick getaway. Tara Griffis and her last day gobbler. Tara took this one with a Virgin Hen call. He came out into the alfalfa field about 250 yards from her and she kept coaxing him with her call until he was about 30 yards out and then she zapped him with her Beretta 20 guage. This gal can work a box call.

Tim Carsell and his Kansas Rio that he called up with a Walnut and Mahogany Virgin Hen. Tim called up a flock of about 15 turkeys and this old boy was the boss of the bunch. Took him near Hutchinson, Kansas. This is my first Rio Grand ever, taken near Rock Springs Texas. Called him from about 1/4 mile away with a Virgin Hen Call.

Called this gobbler up right after flydown in south Texas. Had two jakes within feet of the blind and just knew they were going to give me away. Virgin Hen did the trick again. Jim was set up near a hole in the fence and had to call this old Texas Rio through it. Four hens came through first and almost spooked but finally walked on by followed by the old big boy. Canary wood Virgin Hen again.

Mike Drabing from Castle Rock, Colorado set up on a sand bar and called this old boy across a river. Two big gobblers came over and Mike greeted them with a little thunder. Moments later two jakes entertained us with one of them topping a 2x4 ( yes a 2x4 and we have video to prove it) and he wasn't even embarrassed about us laughing at him. Virgin Hen did the duties. I set up in the afternoon in south Texas at about 4:00 and called three nice gobblers in. They came in running and gobbling. Had a 8 5/8 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs. Virgin Hen.
