Mark Dunlap and a fine Kansas Rio. Mark has been hunting most of his life and has taken many elk, deer and turkeys in the fine state of Colorado. Roy Meyers and another nice Kansas Rio. Roy is a veteran hunter and has taken his share of big game and for the last three years in a row he and Mark have taken their gobblers like it was nothing to it. Roy recently got him a Mother Clucker call too, so gobblers, BEWARE.

Mark Dunlap and his beautiful white tailed Merriam gobbler. Mark took this gobbler in the San Isabel National Forest near Pueblo Colorado. That Mother Clucker box call should be outlawed. He makes it seem too easy. Roy Meyers and his Merriam. Roy consistently gets his bird while the rest of us are slipping around trying to see where these guys are hunting.

Vance took this big Osceola near Deland Florida. It weighed 20 lbs and had a 9 and 3/4 inch beard with one inch spurs. Vance took this gobbler on the second day of our Texas hunt. It had 3 beards. He used his Red Oak Mother Clucker. He was hid behind a small cedar tree and as he called him up the gobbler circled around him and he had to keep scooting around the tree on his knees to keep from being seen. After circling almost all the way around the tree the ole boy finally got close enough to shoot.

We got to the mountains at around 4 o'clock in the afternoon and after climbing the mountain and dropping down in the valley on the other side we heard this old Merriam gobble. We dashed for the bushes right quick and I yelped on my Virgin Hen call and he came strutting right to us. We want to thank Mark and Susan for a great turkey hunt. These are the kind of special people that you don't run into very often. They opened thier home to us and treated us like family. We will be seeing you next year and thank you again for being the kind of people that you are.
